The global health crisis we are going through is fueling ambient conspiracy thinking. I propose to question the psychic stakes of conspiratorial beliefs in the face of the “crisis” in the broad sense, be it health or existential, collective or individual. I will start by making an inventory of conspiracy, before presenting a brief review of the scientific literature devoted in recent months to conspiratorial theories relating to the coronavirus crisis. Finally, I will defend the interests of a psychopathological approach to conspiracy.
