Mylène Costes is a lecturer in information and communication sciences at Toulouse Jean-Jaurès University. Member of the LERASS laboratory, she co-leads the research axis “Heritage and mediations”. His work focuses on questions linking the cultural field and that of health.
She works among others on the hospital heritage, the search for health information (vaccination, rare diseases). She is also interested in mental health, art therapy devices. From 2016 to 2019, she participated in the PLURIART research project (multidisciplinarity and art therapy) under the direction of Martine Corral-Regourd (IDETCOM). It also questions the media representations of mental illnesses and in particular those relating to schizophrenia.
